Hi! I’m Jordan Martens, owner of Zenith Projects. Understanding your vision, budget, and time frame is how I begin building your dreams into reality.

I began my career in construction as a carpenter in the commercial and industrial sector, where I worked as a general superintendent for a high-end commercial construction company. The owner of the company at the time was having difficulties renovating his house and keeping up with the project, so I was given the opportunity to take control and manage his renovation. This is when I fell in love with residential contracting and renovating, and decided to launch Zenith Projects!

At Zenith Projects, our approach to construction and renovation is high-end, and communication with our clients is superb. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality workmanship, while being transparent in all that we do: schedule, budget, and timeline updates help you feel at ease and informed every step of the way. We are always happy and available to answer any questions you may have.

Our team of skilled carpenters and sub-trades are the best at what they do; and they are always respectful, personable, and tidy. We have years of experience in the construction industry, which helps us understand what’s best for your home, project or commercial space. We use only the highest quality materials and products in all of our builds, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable and at ease while we are working in your home or commercial space, building your dreams.

Our Process

Initial Meeting – We will discuss your project in detail, review any drawings (if available), and discuss your timeline and budget. Afterwards, I will email a quote for you to review.

Budget Meeting – In this meeting, we will review the itemized quote. The quote will include line items for each aspect of the project, including an estimated cost for each item (with mark up and taxes). At this point, we would prepare a contract and a small deposit would be required to schedule the work.

First Day of Project – Work will begin on the predetermined and agreed upon start date. On this day we would require a 30% deposit as per our signed contract.

During the Project – We will provide you with cost updates: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, depending on the size of your project and your requirements. We will also invoice you regularly, and keep you apprised of all spending. All permits, engineer reports, and drawings are shared with you; and all aspects of the construction process are explained in detail to ensure you understand every step of the process.

Completion of the Project – As the work is nearing completion, we will work with you to create a ‘deficiency’ list that includes any aspects of the job that you might be unhappy with. We will then ensure that these deficiencies are remedied until everything is perfect! We want you to love your project 100%!!!

Completion Meeting – The work is complete. We will now review and address any final invoicing queries, or questions you may have after the completion of your project. Our goal here is that you understands everything that we have done.

Clean Worksites: We take pride in ensuring that our job sites are always clean and organized. We have a dump trailer for waste removal, which keeps the garbage where it should be; instead of in a pile on your front lawn. (No need for bulky, ugly load-off bins that damage driveways and grass.)
Availability: Nothing is worse than not being able to get a hold of your contractor when you need him. We are almost always available through text, email or a phone call. It’s our job to be in control of your project, and know what is going on at all times.
Kind and clean workers: All of us at Zenith Projects (including our sub trades) are always courteous, clean and on time. (Smoking is prohibited on all of our job sites.)
Scheduling and timing: Although we generally work during normal construction hours of Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, we are willing to adjust that to meet specific project requirements and do what is needed to get the job done!
